To celebrate this milestone occasion we're doing what we usually do - traveling! This time to the very romantic city of Paris, France as well as to our favorite european city - Rome.

This, my very first blog, is to document for ourselves, friends, and family the highlights of our trip. Expect lots of pictures of food, monuments, food, churches, museums; oh, and food.

Au Revoir Paris

Sadly it's time to say good-bye to this elegant and beautiful City.  It was such fun getting to know it and seeing the many sights that it offers first time visitors.  Of course we did not see all that we wanted to, but that only means that we'll have to come back.

One of my favorite things to do is take pictures of the people who live in the places that we visit.  Here are a few from my Paris collection.

I have no idea who this young woman is but there was a crowd of people waiting outside of Fouquet, a restaurant often frequented by politicians and film stars.  This person came out and starting posing for the paparazzi but no one around us knew who she was either.

And a parting shot of the Eiffel Tower putting on it's nightly light show.  AU REVOIR PARIS!

  1. I love these shots of everyday life...they are so telling of life in these exotic places. You've done such a fabulous job on this blog, Nalani. I love to check back every morning for new updates.
